Rosario Mannino, AIA, LEED AP

Principal

Rosario Mannino, AIA, is the owner and principal architect of RS Mannino Architects + Builders. 

Rosario has been practicing residential architectural design and construction for more than 20 years, attentively designing new custom built homes, along with restoring and renovating historic homes and elevating luxury spaces in New Jersey’s most desired neighborhoods and NY’s most affluent enclaves.

At a young age, Rosario spent his summers learning about proper building techniques and craftsmanship working in construction for traditional high-end homes in Somerset Hills, New Jersey. This experience prompted his passion for a career in architecture, along with a specialized interest in construction management. These related experiences inspired his interest in the Master Builder model that seamlessly integrates architectural design concepts and builder craftsmanship with a focused effort on a cohesive process. With this guiding principle, he founded the firm RS Mannino Architects & Builders in 2015. 

Under his leadership, the company has received numerous design and craftsmanship awards, including Pro Remodeler’s Forty under 40, KBDN Magazine Innovator, NKBA 2022 Design Award for Small Traditional Kitchen, Chrysalis Regional Award for Kitchen Design. He and his firm have also received recognition from leading national, and regional design publications, including Dwell, Real Simple, Traditional Home’s Beautiful Kitchens, Martha Stewart Living, Dream Kitchens & Baths, Old House Journal, KBB magazine, KBDN magazine, Qualified Remodeler, NJ Home, DesignNJ, NJ Monthly, Bergen Magazine, 201 Magazine, The Scout Guide, and Vue.              

Rosario holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Florida Atlantic University and a Professional Certificate in Construction Project Management from New York University. He is a dedicated member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, the Green Building Council, The Rutherford Historic Society and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

Rosario, his wife and two daughters reside in Rutherford, New Jersey and escape to their family home in Scottsdale, AZ and Italy for relaxation and inspiration. 

Alexander Bruno is a licensed architect and graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. After seeing his first set of blueprints at ten years old he found his passion and decided to be an architect. Alexander has 6 years experience in multiple fields of architecture, including residential, commercial, mixed use, educational design, and more; being responsible for projects from initial design through to construction completion. Beginning his career with the diverse projects of Guzzo+Guzzo Architects Alexander learned the intricacies of project design, project management, and construction administration. Eager for larger projects he moved to Parette Somjen Architects where he worked on multi-million dollar projects and in a firm of 70 people. Upon seeing the intricate designs and precise drawings of RS|MANNINO Architects he knew where he needed to be and joined the firm. Since joining RS|MANNINO Architects in 2017 Alexander has worked with its talented team of architects and contractors to design and build published residential, mixed use and multi-family residential projects. His professionalism, enthusiasm and creativity continue to drive inspiring designs and timely construction.

Lara Fashah graduated from Montclair State University with a BA degree in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. Prior to joining RS MANNINO, Lara worked in the banking industry for over half a decade. Leveraging her experience gained from the banking industry and college, Lara found the perfect fit at RS MANNINO. As the Office Manager for more than five years, Lara keeps everyone organized and maintains company procedures. Lara has also taken on the role of assistant project manager for all of RS Mannino residential projects.
